A first glance at the title will probably have you thinking here goes another self-help book that tells you can be anything you want to be if only you tell yourself so. You may even toss the book aside in your skepticism but hey don’t. This book is like a blueprint and father of all other Self-development books.

Written after the Great Depression of the 1930s when most businesses in America had collapsed. The Author Napoleon Hill interviewed a lot Successful people and came up with strategies and principles on How one can transmute thoughts into tangible Riches.

Some parts of the books sound a little far-fetched especially if you’re just reading for the knowledge and not to make the book your Living Manual. I however believe if you have the resolve and commitment to follow all the instructions in the book it can truly change your life. I know I didn’t do everything during and after reading it nevertheless, the knowledge that I acquired from it has had a major impact on how I view the process of Self- Development in all aspects of my life.

Essentially this book is about changing your mindset, changing your thoughts to impact your behavior and be willing to do what it takes to transmute your dreams for riches into a tangible reality.

The author says “If you don’t see great riches in your imagination, you will never see them in your bank balance.” Therefore the starting Step to getting riches is having a Desire to acquire them, Imagining having them, Autosuggesting to your subconscious mind that you have them, Having Faith that you will have them and then using Organized Planing, A mastermind group and persistence in acquiring them.

Knowledge is only potential power, it becomes power only when and if it is organized into definite Plans of actions and directed to a definite end.

I highly recommend reading this book, a timeless book that is still as relevant now as it was then and it continues to inspire and empower its readers.
